Scibids, a platform which builds artificial intelligence (AI) for digital marketing, has received a boost to its brands team with the appointment of Rafael Alfaro as Head of Brand Partnerships.

Alfaro will lead the company’s efforts in identifying, securing, and cultivating direct relationships with brands by promoting how smarted ad decisioning and automation can lead to optimised programmatic ad spend for prospective brand clients. He is tasked with cementing Scibids’ offering at the forefront of its field.

“The potential of AI to strengthen marketing efforts is more evident now than ever. Scibids is front and centre in helping companies rethink how to buy programmatically,” said Alfaro. “I’m thrilled to be joining such an incredibly talented group and helping companies to implement Scibids ground-breaking and value-creating solution. Enabling advertisers to harness automation and improve performance even during economic downturns.”

Prior to joining Scibids, Alfaro was VP, Business Development at Mediaocean and its Flashtalking subsidiary. Here, he was in charge of strategic relationships with major industry players. Before that, Alfaro was VP, Audience Solutions & Advanced TV at Cadent-owned 4INFO. He also previously served as VP of Sales at Conversion Logic, in between a pair of stints at 4INFO.

“Rafael’s varied and extensive experience, providing complex digital solutions to brands eager to gain control, lower costs and increase programmatic performance, will be invaluable to Scibids as we build on our momentum of growth,” said Eric Schwartz, MD of Scibids North America. “Helping our clients to optimize, drive revenue and improve their return-on-investment, Rafael will cement Scibids’ partnerships and ensure our pre-eminence as the pioneers of AI-led digital marketing.”
