Social media agency SocialChain has appointed Ramiz Abusham as Growth Director. Reporting directly to CMO Hannah Baker, Abusham will work closely with the SocialChain senior leadership team to expand the agency’s client portfolio following the launch of its creator model last September, whilst also developing growth strategies that will aid the expansion of the agency’s capabilities, geographic reach, and service offerings. Joining from Accenture Song, where he was a Growth Lead, Abusham brings over 10 years’ experience in business development to the role, having previously worked for media and content agencies such as Dentsu’s iProspect, PHD and WPP’s Bookmark Content, now part of Group SJR, as well as independent social agency The Tree.
Virtue Worldwide, Vice Media’s creative agency, has announced the appointment of Kitty Hennessy as Business Development Director in the UK. She will report into Nate Woodhead, MD Europe and Creative Partner. Hennessy joins from London-based boutique content agency, Be the Fox, where she served as Head of Growth and Partnerships. Prior to that, she was New Business and Marketing Director at TBWA and Senior New Business Director at Ogilvy.
Customer experience and digital product design consultancy Pattrn has announced the appointment of April Felker to the newly created role of Experience Design Director. Reporting to Chris Lewis, Pattrn’s Co-Founder and Head of Design, Felker will elevate the studio’s design output to tackle complex business problems. She will support teams to deliver strategic products and services for clients. Felker joins from creative agency BBH, where she was Head of UX/UI, leading digital and brand experience work for clients such as Audi, Samsung, Western Union, and Tesco. She has also previously worked as a freelance design consultant, with stints at agencies including Tribal Worldwide, VCCP and Isobar, and in-house for brands such as Habitat, Natural History Museum and Crabtree & Evelyn.

EV charging and digital out-of-home network Jolt has appointed David Sadler as Specialist Director to support the execution of the company’s advertising proposition. He has over 20 years of experience and joins from Global, where he was Head of Agency for five years. Before that, he had stints at Outdoor Plus (acquired by Global) and JCDecaux.
