Interviews, insight & analysis on digital media & marketing

FAQs

Anyone (yes, anyone) who works for a tech supplier, media/digital agency, brand, or publisher/media owner in the digital media space. You can even nominate yourself!

Get in touch with our partnerships team at partnerships@bluestripegroup.co.uk. They’ll be happy to discuss – they’re reasonably pleasant.

You do. But that £99 fee helps us to put together an amazing awards ceremony. And, unlike those other pesky awards, tickets to attend the ceremony itself are free.

Of course you can! Nominate as many people as you want to in the same category, or across multiple categories.

You can indeed.

Nominations can be made by anyone – boss, colleague, client, mum, dog.
Though we love all (most) countries, only nominees who spend the majority of their time in the UK are eligible.
The best entries tell a story. Is your nominee a hero for more than just one day? Do people hold out for them ’til the end of the night? Do they take away the pain? Then tell us – it won’t make a difference, but please do.

What we really want to know is:

– Why is your nomination a ‘hero’?
– What have they done to deserve the award?
– Why should their work be award-winning?
– How are they making the industry better?
– How do they inspire others?

Our judges want to feel inspired and are looking for a clear, concise narrative that compels them to shortlist your nomination.

Please go to our 2022 Winners page for the winning entries from last year. These show what the judges and voters deemed as worthy winners!

Entries must be no longer than 500 words.
Nominations will be judged on the quality of their entry only. But feel free to send over a video or audio file of you singing a hero-themed song. It won’t help, but it will make us happy.
Yep. However, we recommend writing the submission outside of the entry form, then doing a cheeky Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v once completed (because technology eh?).
Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If this doesn’t happen within 24 hours (because, again, technology eh?), ping an email over to awards@newdigitalage.co.uk and we will sort that out pronto.

Entries close on Friday 31st March at 23:59 GMT. There will be no further extensions!

Entries that make the shortlist will be sent a lovely email to confirm.

Alternatively, you can sign up for awards updates via a form on the Welcome page. And we’ll also be kind enough to publish the shortlists on New Digital Age, across our socials, and via our newsletter (which I’m sure you’re already signed up to).

A shortlist for each category will be chosen from all of the entries by our esteemed and very important judging panel. This shortlist will then be opened up to a public vote which will determine the winners. The VIP judges will then choose the overall NDA All Star Hero 2023 from the 8 category winners.

We’ll announce the winners at an awards ceremony on Friday 9th June in a reception before our summer Trinity Lunch. And, for everyone’s sanity, it won’t be one that last three hours!

Tickets will be made available via the Awards Night page closer to the event. Psst, remember they’re free (though if you would like to stay on for the Trinity Lunch after you will need to buy a ticket for that!).
Tickets (which are still free) will be available closer to the event. Get in touch with us at awards@bluestripegroup.co.uk for information on securing tickets for yourself or your team.
Please contact our awards team via email if you have any further questions (or just want to compliment us) – awards@bluestripegroup.co.uk
