V Launches Free TV Channels Service Across 10 MENA Markets in Partnership with Screenomic

V, the platform company behind the VIDAA Smart TV operating system, has launched its TV Channels service across ten Middle East and North Africa markets, giving viewers free access to more than 30 premium streaming channels.

The rollout covers the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. The service brings together entertainment, news, sports, documentaries, lifestyle, and children’s content from a mix of regional and international partners, blending live FAST (free ad-supported streaming television) channels with a growing video-on-demand library.

The launch is backed by Screenomic, a MENA-focused connected TV and digital advertising company, which is supplying a curated slate of Arabic-language channels and handling their monetisation across the region. At launch, the partnership includes 25 curated FAST channels, with both companies planning to add further content partners and channels over time.

Faisal Alhurani, V’s Regional Director for MENA, said the strongest connected TV experiences are built on local content, and that pairing strong regional programming with international channels creates a more relevant and engaging offering for viewers across the GCC and wider MENA region. Screenomic, in turn, described itself as VIDAA’s primary partner for Arabic FAST channels in the region, positioning the deal as a way to give advertisers a route to premium MENA audiences across connected TV platforms.

TV Channels has reportedly become one of the fastest-growing services on the VIDAA platform, sitting alongside the operating system’s existing roster of local and global streaming apps. Citing data from research firm Omdia, V said VIDAA posted the largest unit growth of any global Smart TV platform between 2023 and 2025, underscoring the platform’s rapid international expansion as it now powers millions of television sets worldwide.

The MENA launch is being framed by both companies as part of a longer-term push to build out a content, advertising, and commerce ecosystem around VIDAA, with further regional content deals expected to follow.
