PwC UK and Sky Media launch ‘Better Solved Together’ series

PwC UK and Sky Media have launched ‘Better Solved Together’ – a content series featuring frank discussions from business leaders and experts on the lessons businesses can learn from some unexpected places, including space, nature, entertainment, sport and health and fitness.

The series aims to promote collaboration and innovation and encourage businesses to look at challenges such as net zero, risk, deal-making, growth and workforce disruption in new ways. The content series will be promoted across Sky News with a TV media campaign driving audiences to the content on the Sky News YouTube channel. In addition, AdSmart from Sky’s addressable TV will be used to target senior and C-suite business professionals.

This series is at the heart of the UK launch of ‘The New Equation’, PwC’s global strategy which emphasises the importance, for business and society, of building trust and delivering sustained outcomes, through the collaboration of a ‘community of solvers’.

The series is hosted by TV presenter Angellica Bell and will feature insights from PwC UK partners and industry leaders.  Please see below for a full list of episodes and panellists.

Sky Media’s production team created 5 x 15-minute ‘Better Solved Together’ episodes. PwC will also host cut down versions of the content on its social media channels.

Maria Jennings, Director of Marketing and Brand at PwC UK, commented, “Our best marketing at PwC comes when we bring inspiration, ideas and a mix of talented people to every project – the same applies to any organisation looking to solve important problems. That’s why we’re excited to launch this innovative series and hope it will encourage organisations to seek out diverse perspectives on the things that matter to them, their people and society.”

Sarah Jones, Director of Planning at Sky Media, commented, “Sky News is a perfect fit for PwC to connect with business savvy viewers. They’re setting themselves apart from the competition by producing creative content that will give this audience valuable perspectives and fresh thinking on some very significant business challenges.”

The PwC / Sky collaboration was initiated, brokered and managed by DRUM and will run from the 5th October 2021 until April 2022.

Margherita Cinti, Business Director at DRUM, commented, “As competition for attention continues to grow across all platforms, it’s more important than ever to cut through the noise and engage your audience. This campaign does just that and allows PwC to demonstrate expertise across sectors while adding value to their audiences with genuinely insightful and relevant content.”
