MarTech scaleup Lunio has appointed Nick Morley as its Chairperson. Morley is a marketing technology veteran with over two decades of experience working with public companies, as well as VC and PE backed scaleups.
Prior to joining Lunio, Morley served as EVP International at Alida. Between 2016 and 2021, Nick led the European arm of Integral Ad Science through an extended period of hypergrowth and change, culminating in its 2021 IPO (nasdaq:IAS). Before that, he established the international business of Efficient Frontier and led the company through its successful $400M sale and integration into Adobe Marketing Cloud.
With his experience, Morley is strategically positioned to advise Lunio’s CEO, Neil Andrew, and the wider company on strategic initiatives, M&A, market opportunities and key areas for growth, as well as raising awareness around the prevalence of ad fraud across performance marketing channels.
On his appointment, Nick Morley said: “I’ve helped scale numerous world leading marketing technology companies. During that time, I’ve encountered first hand the enormous challenge that ad fraud presents to the marketing community.
From the moment I met Neil, I was impressed by the innovative technology and passionate team that Lunio has built. I’m excited to help Neil and his leadership team continue their tremendous momentum and deliver more value to customers as they expand the product and geographies served.”
Lunio’s founder and CEO, Neil Andrew, added: “We are delighted to welcome a real industry heavyweight to Lunio, especially at a time when we aim to scale to the next phase of growth as an industry leader.
“Throughout 2023, Lunio took the steps required to establish itself as the go-to platform for stopping invalid traffic, and we couldn’t be more proud. Yet, this appointment further elevates Lunio and the work the company is doing in the ad fraud space by bringing an industry veteran with a huge network and vast amounts of experience. We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for the company.”
The new appointment follows Lunio’s rapid growth in the past 12 months. Lunio automatically removes bots and fake ad engagements across performance marketing channels – including Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok. By eliminating fake traffic, ad spend is concentrated on audiences with genuine conversion potential, allowing for better campaign optimisations with validated data.
