Email marketing company Intuit Mailchimp has announced the release of more than 150 new and updated features to its platform.
Unveiled at its From:Here To:There conference in London, the features cover custom reporting and analytics, segmentation, ecommerce automation, customer journeys, and support, as well as updates to Mailchimp’s Standard plan.
“We’ve been innovating for our customers at an incredible pace to help them grow their sales by creating personalised multi-channel marketing campaigns at scale,” said Rania Succar, Intuit Mailchimp’s CEO. “With this latest launch, we’re introducing new AI and automation features plus new services with a human touch designed to help our customers save time and accelerate growth.”
At the event – hosted by Richard Ayoade and featuring speakers including Louis Theroux, Martina Navratilova, Professor Hannah Fry, Priya Lakhani, Patricia Bright, Grace Beverley, and Steven Bartlett, among others – Succar previewed Mailchimp’s latest innovations to a room of hundreds of marketers.
Some of the key developments are the new Email Analytics and Audience Analytics dashboard; the addition of more generative AI-powered tools, such as the Alt-text Generator; updates to Campaign Manager; and the addition of 24 new starting points for ecommerce automations, of which there are 12 new Shopify starting points.
Meanwhile, the updated Standard plan now provides access to Multivariate Testing, Comparative Reporting, and Advanced Segmentation – features that were previously only available to Premium customers. Customers on the current Standard plan will be moved on to the new version from 30 June at no additional cost.
“We recently surveyed a group of marketers in conjunction with Forrester and found that 88% of them believe their marketing organisation must increase its use of automation and AI to win,” said Jon Fasoli, Chief Design and Product Officer at Intuit Mailchimp. “Our latest updates and refreshed Mailchimp Standard plan are tailored to give marketers the enhanced automation capabilities they need and are backed by a wealth of data to help them gain more customers and increase revenue.”
