Vistar Media welcomes ex-Microsoft Head of Ad Partnerships as UK GM

Vistar Media, an out-of-home (OOH) media provider, has announced the appointment of Karan Singh as General Manager UK. The move comes at an important time for Vistar, as it sunsets the Sage+Archer brand.

Singh is tasked with securing partnerships with advertisers, increasing support for Vistar’s new and existing media owner and advertiser clients, and educating the industry on the opportunities within OOH and on the benefits of Vistar’s technology.

“With advertisers eager to explore the significant strengths of this channel for advanced contextual targeting strategies, the DOOH space is on the cusp of a new age of expansion,” said Singh. “The critical domino will be the development of prDOOH, for which Vistar Media has developed a truly transformative solution. Putting the creative back into the driving seat, Vistar Media’s technology marries the enjoyable OOH ad experiences we remember of old, with the sophisticated targetability and seamless flexibility that today’s advertisers demand.”

Singh – who has more than 10 years of experience in the adtech and martech spaces – joins Vistar from Microsoft Advertising, where he led the International Advertiser Partnerships team and directed the development and execution of solutions for accounts across EMEA and LATAM. He joined Microsoft in 2022 when Xandr’s sale to the tech giant was finalised. He was Head of Advertiser Partnerships at the company, managing and enhancing client relationships for the platform across Northern Europe.

“Vistar Media is primed for the next stage of DOOH, which will be built upon data-led creative and accurate targeting,” said Diederick Ubels, MD EMEA at Vistar Media. “As we look ahead to the future of our brand and scale up the platform, engaging and educating brands on the power of prDOOH, Karan’s extensive commercial experience will help to ensure that Vistar Media is synonymous with quality, scale, and efficiency.”
