The entry deadline for the JCDecaux Programmatic DOOH Live Awards, in association with New Digital Age, has been extended until 23:59 GMT on 22nd March 2024. The free-to-enter awards event will celebrate the very best integrated programmatic digital out-of-home (pDOOH) from the UK over the past year.
Here, event judge Dom Kozak, Head of Programmatic at JCDecaux, shares his top tips for creating a successful entry…
Understand the criteria: Familiarise yourself thoroughly with the entry criteria and tailor your entry to the category you’re entering.
Highlight your strategy: Clearly articulate what makes your pDOOH campaign stand out from the competition. Emphasise unique approaches, innovation, and results.
Tell a compelling story: Craft a narrative that engages the judges and the live audience and effectively communicates the journey of your campaign, from conception to execution, highlighting any challenges overcome and successes achieved.
Quantify results: Provide concrete data and metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of your marketing efforts. Use numbers, percentages, and specific outcomes to illustrate success. Use visuals such as charts and graphs to make results easy to understand.
Focus on creativity and innovation: Showcase creative elements and innovative strategies employed in your campaign. Highlight any unique tactics, technologies, or approaches that set your work apart.
Provide testimonials or endorsements: Include testimonials or endorsements from clients, customers, or industry experts to validate the effectiveness and value of your marketing efforts.
Stay concise and clear: Be concise when scripting your entry, focusing on key points, and avoiding unnecessary jargon or filler. We’ve put a three-minute time limit on the video entries because we’re not looking for fluff or smoke and mirrors, we want to know what your campaign objectives were, what your strategy was, and the results you saw. Simple.
Review your entry: Thoroughly review and edit your entry to eliminate any errors or inconsistencies. A polished submission reflects professionalism and attention to detail. But remember it’s the content that counts, not the production value – a recorded Zoom call is all that’s needed.
