Marketing transformation consultancy CvE has hired Fiona Davis in the newly created role of Global VP of Growth to lead marketing, partnerships, sales and business development. Reporting to CvE president Paul Frampton-Calero, Davis joins a leadership team that also comprises Robert Webster (strategy), Nick King (commercial) and Aimee Reker (MD, North America). She joins CvE having held multiple C-Suite roles at a number of media technology businesses – most recently as COO at search intelligence platform Captify.  Prior to that, she was European Managing Director at Infinitive Marketing Consulting and before that, CTO International for CBS.

B2B tech marketing specialist, Fox Agency has employed ten new people to bolster its expertise across all departments. Increased client demand for global live video shoots, high-end 3D work and an increased requirement for demand generation across B2B tech markets has led to the agency expanding its skills and capacity in areas including Video Production/Motion & 3D, Creative & Digital Design, Organic & Paid Search, as well as in finance and PR. Fox Agency welcomes Paul McNulty as Video Producer and Director, Olivia Gaunt as Finance Manager, Gracia Novoa as Digital Marketing Specialist, Katherine Skidmore as PR Executive, Lorena Herbert as Creative Resource Manager, Didi Crawford as Senior Account Manager, Laura Willox as Account Manager, Charlie Pearce as Junior Strategist, Sofia Ntalampira as Middleweight Designer, and Ben Nickless as Senior Digital Designer.

Global experience design company, Imagination, has appointed Grace Wright as Global Growth Officer. In this new role, Wright will lead the agency’s growth strategy, raise Imagination’s global profile and support new business across Imagination’s fourteen offices. Wright’s role is effective immediately and she reports to Patrick Reid, Global CEO at Imagination. A longstanding New Business and Marketing leader for some of the world’s leading creative agencies, Grace Wright joins Imagination from WPP brand consultancy Superunion where she was their first Chief Growth Officer driving new business and diversifying and strengthening agency growth through new offers and diversification strategies. Her experience spans multiple disciplines and she previously led the Marketing and New Business functions for MullenLowe Group UK, AnalogFolk and Rufus Leonard. Prior roles include AKQA, BETC London and DDB.

BrightBid, the AdTech platform for Google Advertising, has appointed Robert Parker as Sales Director to drive the company’s ambitious growth plans in the UK. The new Sales Director has over 12 years of experience in marketing and sales, leading business development for a number of startups and established companies across Fintech and Media industries, including Groupon Getaways, DMG Media, Zip Co, and Humm Group. Following the launch of BrightBid’s UK business in September and latest £2 million investment from a number of European unicorns, Parker is tasked with developing the sales team, with new hires across the UK already in place.

Shaken Udder has appointed Jo Abram as their new Marketing Director. Abram’s previous role was Head of Marketing at Eat Natural and she has also worked at Heineken, Yoplait and General Mills. Abram will be focusing on growing the Shaken Udder brand and unlocking its full potential. 

Forter, the Trust Platform for digital commerce, recently announced the appointment of Eran Vanounou as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company’s next stage of product development and innovation. In this role, Vanounou will oversee Forter’s data, precision and engineering teams. Vanounou brings over 25 years of technical development, analytics and enterprise software experience to Forter. Prior to this role, Eran Vanounou served as CEO of Varada, a big data analytics startup, where he led the company to its successful acquisition by Starburst. Prior to Varada, Vanounou served as LivePerson’s CTO and before that he led product and engineering teams at companies such as Sun Microsystems, Oracle and NICE Systems.

Artificial Solutions®, a specialist in Conversational AI (CAI), has announced that it has appointed Patrik Rosenberg as Vice President, Sales, EMEA. Rosenberg will be responsible for EMEA growth and developing Artificial Solutions’ footprint across Europe, while building new and stronger relationships with partners. He will focus on high-growth markets, such as the UK – where Artificial Solutions recently hired Nikhil Bhatia, Head of Growth, UK&I – as well in supporting sectors will high customer service demand, such as telco and retail. Rosenberg has spent the past decade working in the AI industry and has a proven track record of delivering the business value of Conversational AI to multinational corporations. He joins Artificial Solutions from data science and analytics company, Combient Mix, where he spent three years as Vice President and Head of Business Development, leading on the business’ strategic accounts across the Nordics, including SEB and Ericsson.

Cybersecurity and secure digital comms provider, Beyond Encryption, announced that it has appointed Adam Byford as the organisation’s new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Byford has worked in financial services and technology firms for over 30 years, developing his reputation as a financial technology expert. He has set himself apart as a leader in his field, with significant experience in senior sales and strategy positions, including Managing Director of Synaptic Software and Distribution Director of Anorak Technologies. Byford’s new role as CCO will give him responsibility for creating and enhancing partnerships with key industry players, successfully delivering company strategy on behalf of Beyond Encryption and its shareholders. He will focus on both inward and outward-facing activities, managing the Beyond Encryption team to ensure the successful delivery of company goals, as well as liaising with external partners to drive commercial success.
