Talent Tracker: Dentsu, Interbrand, Webmart and more

Dentsu UK&I has announced the appointment of Jenny Bullis, UK&I Media Practice CEO. Bullis will lead Dentsu’s UK&I media market, comprised of Carat, iProspect, and Dentsu X. Reporting to CEO UK&I Angela Tangas, she will scale Dentsu’s integrated media capabilities and partner with Dentsu’s global and EMEA leadership to enhance its media strategy and strengthen its position in the market. Bullis brings 25+ years’ experience in Media and Marketing – most recently at Meta, where she led the EMEA-wide Marketing Science organisation. She started her career at Starcom, and has held senior Media and Marketing roles at BT, Sainsbury’s, ITV, Omnicom, and Group M.

Brand consultancy Interbrand has promoted Emma Ellis to President, Interbrand London. She will report to Interbrand’s Global CEO Gonzalo Brujó. Ellis was previously Managing Director, Interbrand London and will succeed Christian Purser in this role. Over her 11-year tenure at Interbrand, Ellis has held four positions, starting in client services before heading into a growth role and rising through the ranks of the Executive Committee. After returning from maternity leave, she took the helm as Managing Director, where she broadened her remit from client experience to encompass growth and culture.
Ellis has spent almost two decades collaborating with brands including Lego, Siemens, Axa, Asos, Dr Martens, Vodafone, Unilever, and Sony.

Marketing agency Webmart has promoted Kelly O’Sullivan to Chief Executive Officer. She started her career at Webmart in 1998 as an Account Manager, before leaving and going on to hold prominent roles across the sectors, including Head of Print and Publications at Sainsbury’s for over two decades, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to both business growth and sustainability initiatives. Before being promoted to CEO, O’Sullivan was Chief Operating Officer for Webmart.

Metaverse studio Karta has announced new hires from Tommy Hilfiger, Epic Games and Emperia. Karta has welcomed Morgan Evans as its brand-new Fashion and Beauty Director, joining from Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, and Sarah Richards, moving over from the virtual brand and shopping experience platform Emperia to take up the new position as Art Director. Karta has also hired Tork Shaw as the new Game Design Director, Oscar Halland as Lead Programmer for Roblox, and Jonny Coelho as Lead Producer.

ThisThat has appointed Tom Shannon as Vice President of Sales. In his new role, he will lead ThisThat’s sales efforts. Concurrently, Joe Adsett, formerly Growth Director takes on the new role of Vice President of Growth, spearheading efforts to pivot towards a more targeted and effective strategy aimed at enhancing Product-Market Fit (PMF) segments.

Creative agency Bald has appointed Doni Goodman as its new Executive Creative Director. Goodman brings to Bald over 15 years of expertise from agencies such as R/GA, 360i, McCann, Arts & Letters, VaynerMedia, and Havas.

The PPA has announced Mel McVeigh as its first Head of Digital to support members digital growth strategies. Working in collaboration with Sajeeda Merali, PPA CEO, McVeigh will be responsible for shaping, creating and implementing the PPA’s member focused digital strategy and keeping abreast of digital innovation and legislation as the industry continues its evolution to multi-platform and digital first.McVeigh has worked for several global publishers including Telegraph Media Group, Which?, TimeOut and Lonely Planet. She was previously VP Digital Product – Brands & Commerce, Condé Nast. Additionally, she will work alongside the newly appointed Chair of the PPA Digital Collective and AI taskforce, John Barnes.
