Integrated B2B technology marketing agency, Fox Agency, has appointed Melissa Hull as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to navigate its significant growth and ambitious plans for FY22 and beyond. Hull brings 15 years of financial expertise to Fox Agency, joining the team following her role as Business and Finance Consultant at Business Breakthrough Solutions. Prior to this, Hull held the role of Financial Controller for various WPP brands such as VML London, Ogilvy and Gain Theory, and began her career in the credit management sector of Microsoft, making use of her skills in French and German.

Getir, the pioneer of ultrafast grocery delivery, has announced that human resources professional Mira Magecha has joined the rapidly expanding tech company as Chief People Officer. Responsible for leading the brand’s Global People Team, Magecha will coordinate operations across Turkey, the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain. As well as supporting the brand as they continue their expansion across Europe and the US by the end of the year. With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Magecha is well-positioned to lead Getir’s ambitious global expansion plans and hiring of top talent. Joining from JustEat after 5 years as Chief People Officer, Magecha is well-versed in enhancing the lives of employees in large scale businesses, having also previously worked at Capgemini, Ofcom and the BBC.

Inskin Media, which specialises in multi-screen, high impact digital brand advertising, has made a number of key appointments across its client success and publisher services teams as it continues its global expansion. Jessica Rosevear has been appointed as Associate Director, Supply – in the publisher services team – alongside another new hire, Chika Okpara, who has been hired as Publisher Services Executive. Rosevear previously worked for Inskin Media for over seven years, prior to a stint running a small business. She is known for her exemplary relationship-building skills, her positive, ‘can do’ attitude, and her ability to smash targets. Okpara will work alongside her and is tasked with discovering new opportunities for growth and maintaining relationships among the team’s existing publisher base, having recently been working at Xandr. At Inskin Media, Okpara will provide dedicated day-to-day contact and troubleshooting for publisher partners, whilst working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure targets are hit.

Ben Wignall joins as Senior Director of Client Services in the UK; starting in November. He brings with him over a decade of experience in media, expertise in digital strategy and a consultative approach. Previously Data Strategy Director at media agency, Initiative, before moving through the ranks to Client Services Director at The Exchange Lab, he will be focusing on streamlining internal processes, building out Inskin Media’s data offering, and ensuring the agency continues to delight its clients with impactful, high-performance creative solutions. Also re-joining the team is Gurdeep Bhaker, Inskin Media’s new Client Success Manager, who starts in the role in October. Prior to this, she was Head of Delivery at Brand Advance Group, and a campaign manager at Silver Bullet.

Skillsoft has announced it has appointed Kristi Hummel as Chief People Officer, effective immediately. Hummel brings more than 25 years of experience leading people strategies for global technology companies, including designing and implementing best-practice programs for talent acquisition, retention and development, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management. Hummel most recently served as a Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Dell Technologies, where she led the Talent and Culture organisation. She previously led Dell’s global Human Resources team, supporting the Services & Digital organisations, Marketing organisation, Chief Customer Office and Virtustream.

, Inc., an autonomous cybersecurity platform company, has announced the appointment of Rob Salvagno to SVP, Corporate Development. Salvagno brings over 20 years of experience helping technology companies scale through mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments. He joins SentinelOne from KKR & Co. Inc. where he was a Managing Director investing in growth-stage technology companies. Prior to KKR & Co. Inc., Salvagno led Cisco’s corporate development team for five years as Vice President of Corporate Development and Cisco Investments.

Circulor is pleased to announce it has appointed Bob Parker as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Parker has 30 years of considerable financial and management experience, having held a series of senior finance roles at a range of leading technology companies. He joins Circulor from DefinedCrowd Corp., a leading AI training data company, and prior to this was CFO at cybersecurity firm SentinelOne between 2017 and 2020. Parker is also an Advisor at Firmbase, a VC-backed, enterprise SaaS fintech startup. 

Byte – the Dept-owned marketing technology agency has hired former Mindshare and GroupM Managing Partner, Jenny Kirby, for the newly created management team role of Media Operations Director. Reporting into Byte’s Managing Director, Joanna Trippett, Kirby will be primarily responsible for developing Byte’s media offering and value proposition to cover multi-channel digital marketing including search, display and video.

Integrated agency group UNLIMITED, has announced Simon Collister PhD, as the new Director of its Human Understanding Lab. With nearly twenty years’ experience, Collister is a highly accomplished research and strategy consultant with extensive experience helping high-profile global businesses and brands solve complex challenges through insight, creativity, and communications. He has worked across a wide range of clients from multi-national corporations to international NGOs and governments including FedEx, BP, Airbus and UNHCR.

Ronan Murphy has joined contextual video platform video intelligence as Managing Director in the UK. Joining after seven years at OpenX, Murphy will oversee all aspects of the UK business, including growing vi’s flagship contextual video product, ‘vi stories’. One of Murphy’s first appointments will be on a panel at the AOP Publisher Tech Talks event on October 14. Murphy is joined by Paddy O’Flynn, who spent nearly a decade at Dennis Publishing. O’Flynn will be directly responsible for media sales.

Independent advertising agency St Luke’s has announced the appointment of senior creative team Phillip Meyler and Darren Keff.  The highly awarded pair have worked with St Luke’s on a freelance basis to date, and have now joined permanently as part of the creative department. Meyler and Keff have spent 15 years working together at some of the UK’s top agencies. Before joining St Luke’s, they were creative directors at M&C Saatchi, where their work included the ‘BetRegret’ launch campaign for GambleAware and ‘Shout Out to my Son’ for The Ben Kinsella Trust, an innovative knife crime awareness campaign that infiltrated underground radio stations. Meyler and Keff previous experience includes five years at Leo Burnett where they created big populist work for McDonald’s and more societal behaviour changing work such as the ‘Ban the Box’ campaign for Business in The Community.

Admix, the pioneering In-Play advertising platform that bridges the gap between mobile games and brands, is thrilled to announce the appointment of mobile gaming and media industry expert Stefan Adamczyk as VP of Global Partnerships. He brings with him over two decades of commercial expertise gained at market-leading companies such as AdColony, PHD Media, Lycos and Media Planning Group. In 2014, he was AdColony’s first EMEA hire, having joined as EMEA Advertising Director, and later promoted to SVP Performance after nearly five years.

Born Social has announced Jenni Evans as Senior New Business Manager. Evans joins the agency from the Accenture-owned ad agency Karmarama where she held the role of new business and marketing manager, helping the agency secure global brands, including Lidl, Nando’s, Halfords, NCS, Arla Foods, Just Eat and Confused.com. Prior to joining Born Social, she held positions at Sue Ryder and Creative Brief. A firm supporter of women’s rights, Evans created the network Represent Creative to provide advice for women seeking creative careers and was awarded a WACL Talent Award 2021, celebrating emerging future female leaders working in media, marketing, advertising and communications. She is also a Squiggly Career advocate.

Medialab Group have bolstered their team with a series of key hires. Lisa Meiklejohn joins Medialab as Director of Digital Strategy and Development from Essence, where she was Business Director on the L’Oreal account and Digital Activation Director. Meiklejohn brings extensive experience within multiple digital channels across brand, performance and commerce, and works passionately across a range of verticals. With a strong track record of developing innovative digital strategies for clients, Meiklejohn will support Elle Hill, Medialab’s recently appointed Director of Digital Performance. Hill brings a wealth of digital expertise from her senior leadership roles at Performix and Merkle Periscopix.
