Talent Tracker: Studio PI, Adnami, James and James Fulfilment and more

Studio PI, the photography and illustration agency that champions talent from underrepresented backgrounds, has appointed Darren Sital-Singh as Managing Director. Sital-Singh, previously at Hearst and Shortlist, will work alongside Sachini Imbuldeniya, Studio PI’s founder and Executive Creative Director, as the agency builds on a strong first year of growth. Darren Sital-Singh is an experienced commercial and brand specialist in media and publishing. Prior to joining Studio PI, he was Client Director for Entertainment and Telecoms at News UK. Previous to this he was Managing Director of upmarket men’s lifestyle media brand The Jackal, Publisher of Shortlist and Advertising Director of Esquire at Hearst Magazines.

Tech company, Adnami, has announced two new hires to join its London team: Alex Barstow as Publisher Sales Director, UK, and Tom Carr as Agency Sales Director. Tom Carr, who joins Adnami as Agency Sales Director, will be managing and growing the UK agency offering – building relationships with international trading desks from London and placing Adnami even more firmly on the map with UK agencies. Carr spent over seven years at mobile ad tech company, Ogury, where he most recently worked as Business Lead at the global organisation. Alex Barstow joins from Inskin Media, where he was Head of UK Publishers. At Adnami, Barstow will be responsible for managing and cultivating existing publisher relationships in the UK and onboarding new strategic publisher partners. He will lead service activation, delivery and training with top tier publishers.

James and James Fulfilment, a provider of outsourced fulfilment services to online retailers, has announced that it has named Emma Dempsey, a proven leader with more than 25 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, as Chief Executive Officer. Emma Dempsey succeeds James Hyde, Founder of James and James, and will be responsible for running operations and growing the UK business. James Hyde, as Founder, will focus on driving tech innovation, international expansion and driving growth of the company’s eCommerce business clients. Prior to James and James, Emma Dempsey held leadership roles at the third-party logistics providers: Clipper Logistics plc (Chief Operating Officer) and UTL – a Unipart Group Company (Commercial Director). Before that, she worked client-side as Head of Supply Chain Development at Marks and Spencer after having spent several years with Accenture in a consulting role.

Streetbees, the London based human intelligence platform has made senior strategic hires to bolster its Human Resources and Artificial Intelligence offerings. Charlotte Forsyth is appointed VP People, and Anthony Brew is appointed VP Artificial Intelligence with immediate effect. LSE Graduate and ex-Facebook Employee Relations Business Partner, Charlotte Forsyth is appointed to the newly created role of Vice President (VP) People. Forsyth joins from WorldRemit where she was Chief People Officer and was formerly part of the Global Insights management team at Kantar. Anthony Brew is appointed to the newly created role of Vice President (VP) of Artificial Intelligence. Brew holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and has an extensive 20-year career in software engineering and machine learning spanning in Banking (Murex), IT Operations (IBM) and in E-Commerce (Zalando), most recently leading the NLP Center of Excellence at Zalando.

CallRail, a marketing analytics and business communications platform, has announced three new additions to its leadership team: Kimberly Lipscomb as Vice President of Revenue Operations, Kristin Marsicano as Director of Engineering, and Richard McDade as Creative Director. As Vice President of Revenue Operations, Kimberly Lipscomb boasts more than two decades of experience helping organizations drive efficiencies, increase revenue, and implement solutions to create lasting value for customers. Lipscomb is a proud champion of small business growth, most recently at Cox Media and Cardlytics. As Director of Engineering, Marsicano will scale CallRail’s engineering function, with a keen focus on CallRail’s market-leading call tracking and analytics products. Marsicano has deep, hands-on technical experience, in addition to a breadth of management expertise. In her previous role as Director of Technology at Big Nerd Ranch, she doubled her team’s size in just one year. As Creative Director, McDade will be responsible for elevating and differentiating the CallRail brand, while simultaneously managing creative design across all business functions to maximize impact. McDade has worked for Microsoft, Google, Samsung, T-Mobile, and Starbucks.

Imagination, the Global Experience Design Company, has announced Cyril De Baecque’s appointment as Production Director of Digital Content in its Sydney office. He was previously Executive Producer at experiential agency VANDAL Sydney, working on global projects including world-class TV automotive commercials and feature films. Baecque has a wealth of experience in this sector, initially working on live production TV commercials and feature films in Paris, before moving to Australia where he joined Spinifex Group, working his way up to become its Managing Director.

Creative technology and content production studio Happy Finish has announces the appointment of Jeremy Yates as Director of Strategic Partnerships. Previously, Jeremy worked as account director at Zappar, where he developed high profile accounts including Beiersdorf (NIVEA), Diageo, Pernod Ricard, ASOS, BMW, Accolade Wines Group, McDonald’s, Shazam and Whyte & Mackay. Jeremy will utilise his considerable expertise in developing partnerships that will help brands and agencies unlock the benefits of engaging story-telling and immersive experiences.

Celonis has announced the appointment of Ariel Bardin as Chief Product Officer. Bardin will lead product strategy and development for all Celonis Execution Management System (EMS) offerings. Bardin will serve on the Celonis executive team and report directly to Alex Rinke, Celonis co-founder and co-CEO. Bardin’s most recent operating role was Vice President of Product Management at Google. Over 16 years he built, launched, and led some of Google’s most successful products, including Google Payments, leading the product teams for YouTube’s full suite of creator products, and nearly a decade of managing the Google AdWords product teams. 

Toluna, the consumer insights provider and parent company of Harris Interactive and KuRunData, has announced the appointment of Kevin Daly to the newly created role of Chief Sales Officer. Daly joins Toluna from Verint, where he was Global Head of Experience Management. He has also held positions with Nielsen as Global SVP, Affinnova Inc. as SVP and GM SaaS Solutions, 1stHour Communications as SVP of Sales and Marketing, and Pitney Bowes as VP of Sales.

TransferGo has announced the appointment of Povilas Čiuplys as its new Chief Customer Officer. Povilas takes on the position following two years in senior customer service roles at TransferGo, and brings over a decade of experience in driving positive customer experiences. Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, Povilas will be responsible for leading TransferGo’s exceptional customer support strategy, liaising with its product and marketing teams to ensure that customer experience is always at the heart of service and innovation.
