Digital experience agency Tribal Health has appointed Niaz Rizwani as its new Strategy Director. Rizwani joins from Publicis Health where he was a Senior Strategist. Prior to Publicis Health, Rizwani worked in strategy and innovation projects at DigitasLBi and Blue Latitude. With over 10 years’ experience, Rizwani has a deep knowledge of healthcare with a particular interest in how technology, design and science can be applied to meet human health needs. His role at Tribal Health will include helping clients find new ways of reaching customers, improving their interactions and experiences, and using data more effectively.

Design sector PR specialist Red Setter has appointed Giles Draper as Head of Broadcast for it’s newly launched broadcast division. Draper, whose specialism is in B2B and B2C campaigns for radio, television and digital outlets, will be reporting into Red Setter’s Editorial Director and co-owner Alex Blyth. Previous to Red Setter Draper comes with experience from broadcast specialist Markettiers, plus Sky News, and most recently as a freelance senior broadcast consultant working with the Civil Aviation Authority to secure broadcast coverage during the largest repatriation in peacetime history following the collapse of Thomas Cook.

Arcus Global, a cloud service provider to the public sector, has appointed Charlotte Fionda as Head of Marketing. She will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns and communications aimed at building brand awareness and driving growth. With over 20 years of B2B, consumer and NFP marketing experience Fionda has a wide-ranging skill set and has operated at a senior level in a variety of sectors. A large part of her career though, has been focussed on the technology sector. She has worked for new tech start-ups as well as established brands like Nokia.

Gigamon has announced Andy Harcup has joined the team as Senior Sales Director NEMEA. Harcup will be in charge of developing and executing sales strategies that better serve NEMEA customer needs; helping them recover, adapt and succeed in this rapidly evolving and challenging business landscape. Prior to joining Gigamon, Harcup headed up regional sales at Imperva, and also held senior leadership roles at Perfaware and Absolute Software.

Sigfox has announced that its board of directors has unanimously appointed Jeremy Prince as its new CEO. Prince was most recently serving as the President of Sigfox USA since March 2019 and has been on Sigfox’s Executive Committee since joining the company as Chief Strategy Officer in 2018. Franck Siegel has also been appointed as Deputy CEO.

Workforce upskilling platform Degreed has announced a number of new appoints. Nate Kimmons, formerly a Lynda.com and LinkedIn strategy and operations executive, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Kimmons, who joined Degreed in 2015 and has led each of Degreed’s go-to-market teams, will now focus on driving operational improvements that enable Degreed to scale its organization more efficiently.

Chief Experience Officer Kat Kennedy has been promoted to President and CXO. Kennedy has been instrumental in driving Degreed’s growth, shaping its product and culture, and deepening its client relationships. In her new role, Kennedy will partner closely with Degreed’s customers to accelerate innovation.

In addition, SAP engineering executive, Girish Manwani, joined Degreed as Chief Technology Officer. Manwani spent the last 14 years at SAP, most recently as Head of Engineering for SAP SuccessFactors HCM Recruiting Cloud. He will be focused on accelerating product development as well as scaling and securing Degreed’s technology and data infrastructure to meet the complex demands of clients and users.

WALLIX, a European publisher of cybersecurity software and an expert in Identity and Access Security solutions, has appointed Kristine Kirchner as Vice President of Channel in EMEA. Kirchner was previously responsible for the business development of WALLIX’s Trustelem IDaas offering and will now be leading the 15-strong EMEA channel team, with the goal to grow and support partners across the region.

Bamboo Systems has welcomed Andy Hill as its Vice President of Sales and Pre-Sales. Hill brings with him over 20 years of experience building and leading sales organizations and channel relationships, delivering growth in businesses from the startup level to the >$100M revenue range. Most recently Andy was VP Sales, EMEA for Komprise, where he was responsible for planning, strategy and execution of the company’s EMEA sales, partner and channel strategies and growth. Prior to Komprise, Andy also held senior management positions at Nexsan, Sungard Availability Services and VERITAS.

Havas Media Group has announced the appointment of Paul Bland to the newly created role of Head of Biddable Media. Bland joins from iProspect, where he spent nearly six years and was most recently Head of Performance Strategy within the agency’s leadership team, responsible for driving growth and innovation across digital and performance products and solutions, contributing to winning new business, and developing new partnerships with brands. He has previously held positions at MediaCom and Equimedia.

Forterro has made several additions to their team. Dean Forbes, a longtime, U.K.-based software executive who was most recently the president of The Access Group, was named Forterro’s chief executive. Paul Smolinski, the former chief financial officer of HR and payroll software firm CoreHR, has also been named CFO. Forbes joins Forterro after an extensive career in executive and senior leadership roles for a number of international software companies. Most recently he led the growth and expansion of CoreHR, a UK HCM software provider, across Europe. CoreHR was acquired by The Access Group, where Forbes subsequently served as president and executive board member.

Cheltenham based PR and media communications agency, HeadOn PR, has appointed a new Public Relations Account Executive. Lucy Allen brings with her over five years’ experience following previous roles as PR Executive for Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, and PR Assistant for international accessory brand, Johnny Loves Rosie. Allen will be supporting with the management of client accounts, implementation of PR campaigns, social media management and the agency’s podcast ‘The Art of PR’.

Three high profile individuals in healthcare and pharmaceuticals have joined the advisory board of health technology provider C2-AiProfessor Mike Bewick, England’s former national deputy medical director, Dr Jim Bonnette, an international healthcare advisor, and Dr Sheuli Porkess, former director of research, medical and innovation at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, have each joined the company to provide strategic advice and to help expand the applicability and reach of C2-Ai’s technologies.

TMT strategist Andrew Mendoza has been signed to Nonvoice as an adviser and agent. Mendoza is also Chief Strategy Officer of Inception VR which developed the leading Augmented Reality app, Bookful. As well as his experience with Inception VR, Mendoza has an extensive career in Strategy and Business Development for multinational corporations with a focus on media, tech, telecoms and digital. Mendoza consulted for blue-chip companies over 20 years with Accenture and OC&C Strategy Consultants, and for the last ten years has had a much more entrepreneurial emphasis which has included co-founding, investing and advising many content and technology start-ups as well as working with media and entertainment companies on issues of digital strategy and proposition development.

Cybersecurity and integrated risk management provider, SureCloud has appointed Caren Havelock to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. Havelock joins from Ping Identity where, for over four years, she built and led the EMEA marketing team. Prior to that, she held senior marketing positions in cybersecurity with Symantec and CyberGuard. With over 21 years of IT marketing experience, Havelock has a proven track record of building and growing high-performing teams, while delivering significant and sustainable results.

Commvault has announced the appointment of Jamie Farrelly as the new EMEA Vice President, Channel and Alliances. In his new role, Farrelly will oversee Commvault’s EMEA Partner Organisation, with a focus on the implementation of its channel engagement best practices, global programmes and enablement plans. Farrelly brings over 20 years’ experience operating across distribution and vendor organisations, from global multinationals to start ups. Coming to Commvault from his most recent role as EMEA Vice President, Channels at Veritas Technologies, Farrelly brings a wealth of insight, market understanding and long term competitive analysis of Commvault offerings and programmatic capability that will maximise growth and profitability for all levels of Commvault partners.

Momentum has announced two major executive appointments as the business pursues growth in North America and EMEA. Robert Bell joins the company as Group Chief Financial Officer, while Will Nicholls becomes UK Managing Director. Bell, whose appointment follows his sale of private equity-backed company Cawood Scientific, has a track record of leading organisations through periods of high growth and international expansion and will guide the group’s M&A strategy – with a particular focus on North America. Nicholls becomes MD after a year with the company – having previously held positions as MD at Alpha Century and Managing Partner at both BBH and Saatchi & Saatchi – and will drive business strategy and operations, with a focus on developing Momentum’s consulting capabilities and client base in EMEA.

Payment service provider Mollie has welcomed Josh Guthrie as Head of UK. Guthrie has been assigned to run the company’s local office and lead the company’s effort to help UK – and particularly SME – businesses navigate international expansion post-Brexit.
