Steven Bartlett and City Outdoor unite to support communities with uplifting messages
Launching on World Mental Health Day 2022, City Outdoor Media is teaming up with Steven Bartlett, the speaker, investor, author and host of ‘The Diary of a CEO’ podcast to broadcast his positive messages on the premium digital Out of Home media owner’s screens.
Talking to communities in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and Leeds, the digital screens will share positive statements from Steven Bartlett on a weekly basis. The messages aim to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts and launch with a very befitting message for world mental health day; “Anything that costs you your mental health is too expensive. Look elsewhere.”
Sarah Parkes, Group Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Talon Outdoor, commented: “With one in four people experiencing some kind of mental health issue, it has never been so important for people to feel supported and recognised. It is imperative that the OOH industry is taking action and fantastic to see City Outdoor using their platform to offer positive messaging long term.”
Launching at a time of economic uncertainty, when many people are feeling stretched and stressed in the run up to Christmas, these inspirational messages will refresh on a regular basis, breaking-up advertising content for our audiences across UK cities.
Tess Thompson, National Sales Director at City Outdoor Media, said: “At City Outdoor, we were keen to collaborate with Steven to amplify the work he has been doing in this area, and to give something back to the communities in which our screens are live. These messages may just help re-frame someone’s day.”
Lucy Cutter, Head of Planning at Kinetic said: “It’s great to see this partnership and tactical use of out of home to raise awareness around positive mental health in the community. Out of home has the power to start conversations and trigger reactions and I hope this collaboration can make a positive impact to someone’s life.”
