Vistar Media publishes research into DOOH store locators
Vistar Media, in partnership with Omnicom Media and Annalect, has published research examining how store locator information affects consumer responses to programmatic digital out-of-home advertising.
The study tested store locator information placed at the top, middle and bottom of advertising creatives, alongside control executions without location information, across retail, quick-service restaurant and consumer packaged goods campaigns.
The research found that placement and design influenced results. For CPG campaigns, placing location information at the top generated a 20% lift in purchase intent compared with the control, while bottom placement generated a 9% lift in visit intent for retail and QSR campaigns. The study also found that using a location pin increased visit intent by 16%.
