The Advertising Association has announced the return of its annual conference, LEAD, taking place on 28 January at the QEII Centre in Westminster and held in collaboration with the IPA and ISBA.
Under the theme “Shaping advertising’s future,” LEAD 2027 will bring together senior leaders from across advertising, media, business and government to explore the forces transforming the industry and the opportunities they create.
Through a programme of thought-provoking keynotes, interviews and interactive sessions that encourage audience participation, LEAD will ask what these changes mean for advertising, how the industry can respond and what needs to happen next to unlock future opportunities.
Confirmed speakers include: Tim Davie, Co-Chair, Creative Industries Council; Baroness Hazarika MBE, Times Radio broadcaster; Andria Vidler, President, Advertising Association; Charlie Rudd, CEO, UK Creative Practice, Publicis; Damon Reeve, CEO, Ozone; Kate Rowlinson, CEO, WPP Media. The event will be hosted by broadcaster and journalist Nina Hossain.
Partners include Ozone (Headline), Google, News UK, Meta and TikTok (Gold).
Stephen Woodford, CEO, Advertising Association, said: “LEAD is where the advertising industry comes together to understand the forces shaping our future and how we navigate these to achieve growth.
“Advertising is operating in a challenging environment, with rapid change across the board, from politics and regulation to technology, media and the economy. LEAD 2027 will bring together leading voices from across and beyond our industry to examine these developments, challenge conventional thinking and explore how we can find opportunities for growth.
“Our theme, ‘Shaping advertising’s future’, reflects the ambition of the event. We want to look
ahead, ask the difficult questions and equip our industry with the ideas and insight it needs to move forward.”
Tickets are now on sale, with discounts available to AA, IPA and ISBA members.
